If you have a group of people and an idea of what you’d like to learn about, contact us to discuss your own workshop needs, perhaps a fun work team building day, a crafternoon with friends, a kids party workshop, or a particular topic you’d like to request for a workshop.

Close to 80 children attended GPAC on Saturday the 13th of September as part of the Smarter Living Expo 2014. They built their own planter boxes using ready-to-go kits prepared by the Leopold Mens Shed which they then, with the help of the Backyard Harvest crew, filled them with soil, planted them with basil and two types of lettuce, watered them and then promised to water them at home too! It was a great day and very satisfying to see the kids proud of what they had made and could now take home, care for and watch grow, connecting kids with gardens with food.

Andrew also presented at The Smarter Living Expo @ GPAC a half hour seminar on Creating Edible Landscapes where he touched on topics including microclimates, food forests, zoning and soil biology.
